Jokowi allows his ministers to meet the parliament

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BENGKULU -- President Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo now allows his ministers to meet with the parliament. Earlier, he prohibited his ministers to meet the lawmakers unless the parliament could handle their internal rivalry.  

"Today, the issue is over. Ministers can attend meeting," he said during 'blusukan' -term for impromtu visit in Javanese- In Bengkulu, Sumatra. The businessman turned president circulated his cards in Post Office in Bengkulu.

The president argued, letter contains his orders to his ministers over meeting with the parliament was issued early November. 

"It was circulated on November 4 during turmoil between two coalitions in parliament," the president said on Wednesday, November 26. Both coalitions were still conflicting during the date.

He said that the condition was not conducive if ministers met the lawmakers at that time. Jokowi is waiting for the right time to meet the parliament.
