REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is scheduled to meet Joko Widodo (Jokowi) in Bali, on Wednesday to hear his presidential plans.
"President Yudhoyono's meeting with Jokowi is scheduled tonight, and he will hear more about Jokowi's plans as his successor," Coordinating Political, Legal, and Security Affairs Minister Djoko Suyanto remarked on Wednesday.
Suyanto stated that several other comprehensive meetings are also lined up after President Yudhoyono meets Jokowi. "There are also many comprehensive meetings following the meeting with the president-elect," Suyanto revealed.
Earlier, on Monday, Presidential spokesperson Julian Aldrin Pasha noted that the meeting will be held after President Yudhoyono's state visit to Timor Leste on August 25-27, 2014.
"The meeting in Bali was based on President Yudhoyono's initiative and marked a milestone in the transition of political leadership in our country," he asserted.
