REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SOLO - Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Abraham Samad revealed that despite being nominated, he was not interested in becoming a minister in the next cabinet of President-elect Joko "Jokowi" Widodo.

"I want to concentrate on completing the tasks in KPK until the end of my term in 2015. There are still many things that have to be done for this nation," he emphasized on Thursday.

Samad believes that the country has many other qualified people to become ministers.

"Therefore, do not ask me to become a minister because there are many others," Samad remarked in the company of Ravik Karsidi from the State University of Solo (UNS).
