REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- More than 350 companies from 12 countries will participate in the Indonesia Building Mechanical and Electrical Expo 2014, which will be held at the Jiexpo Kemayoran fairground in Central Jakarta from August 14 to 16.
"The expo will take place at Halls A1, A2, A3, and D1, Jiexpo Kemayoran," PT Wahyu Promo Citra (WPC) President Director Sukur Sakka in the capacity as one of the event's organizers said in a press statement released on Tuesday.
The 12 countries are Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, the United States, Italy, South Korea, Turkey, China, Taiwan, Japan, India, and Thailand.
Most of the companies are holders of well-known brands, and their products are known widely and used in many countries, he noted.
"Indonesia is a potential market for the products," he remarked.
The three-day expo is expected to attract about 10,000 visitors and potential buyers, including professionals, entrepreneurs, investors, and consumers, he pointed out.
The Building Mechanical & Electrical Expo 2014 will coincide with Indonesia Steel Building & Metal Structure Expo 2014, Indonesia Chemical Expo 2014, Indonesia Steel & Aluminium Expo 2014, Indonesia Coating & Paint Expo 2014, and Indonesia Transport & Logistic Expo 2014.
He reported that the Industry Minister MS Hidayat was set to open the Building Mechanical & Electrical Expo 2014, which will serve as an integrated expo involving a number of exhibition subsectors, including construction, chemical, metal, and transportation subsectors.
The expo has been organized by PT Wahyu Promo Citra in cooperation with the industry ministry, the Indonesian Federation of Chemical Industries (FIKI), Association of Building Engineers (BEA) Indonesia, and other related associations.
