Iran, US talks on drafting comprehensive nuclear agreement

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, VIENNA -- Before drafting comprehensive nuclear agreement, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi started bilateral consultations with US Deputy Secretary of State William Burns in Vienna on Friday.

On the 3rd day of Iran ? G 5+1 negotiations called Vienna 6, Araqchi had bilateral and multilateral discussions with representatives of 6 powers and had a meeting with Deputy EU Foreign Policy Director Helga Schmidt.

According to IRNA reporter in Vienna, Araqchi and Burns consultations were held in Coburg Hotel in Vienna.

After the consultations between Iran and US, Araqchi and Schmidt start theie work on compiling the draft of comprehensive nuclear agreement.

The 6th round of nuclear talks between Iran and 6 powers of the World started in Vienna on Wednesday and continue until July 29. July 29 is the deadline of the discussions and the two sides are supposed to reach a comprehensive agreement by then.

During the past 3 days, Iran and US have had 3 rounds of negotiations in different levels.
