REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, LOMBOK -- Presidential Candidate No. 2, Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo and his running mate, Jusuf Kalla (JK) will maximize the role of volunteers in next election. They are asked volunteers to provide political education to Indonesian people to vote the number 2. While attending a grand campaign at Islamic Boarding School of Nahdlatul Watah in East Lombok on Thursday evening, Kalla encouraged ulamas and Islamic teachers to vote No. 2 in polling stations.

"We have time less than 20 days. We have to work hard to convince people to vote Jokowi-JK," Kalla said in his speech in front of thousands of students on Thursday evening.

At Flobamora Stadium, East Nusa Tenggara, Regional Chairman of Indonesia's Democratic Party of Struggle, Frans Lebu Raya said that all followers and sympathizers should promote Jokowi-JK everywhere, including church. He asked people to pray together for both candidates to win the presidential election on July 9, 2014.

"Tell about Jokowi-JK to your family, relatives and your closest friends. Invite them to vote number two," Raya added.

Chairman of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) Fatayat Ida Fauziah in her statement at Islamic Boarding School of Ahlus Shofa Wal Wafa encouraged women to support Jokowi-JK. They must able to provide insight into community.

According to her, many black campaigns attacked Jokowi-JK among Muslims, especially women. However, she believes that Islamic teacher invitation will bring back their images.
