REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Jakarta provincial government through Tourism and cultural department will open Jakarta Museum Day Festival 2014 on Saturday, June 7, 2014. It will be held at Fatahillah park, Kota Tua, West Jakarta at 09.00 AM-09.00 PM.
"This activity also commemorates the International Museum Day on May 18 and Jakarta 487th anniversary on June 22," Head of tourism attraction management, Ida Zubaidah said in a conference at City hall, Central Jakarta on Wednesday.
According to her, there are 45 museums in Jakarta, which participate in this event. The event also presented photography competition, exhibition stand contest, and coloring contest for elementary students, as well as museum adventure.
Jakarta provincial government allocated two billion IDR for this event. The visitor is projected to reach 5,000-10,000 people.
