REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Vision and mission of Prabowo Subianto and Hatta Rajasa were identical with Democratic Party. Every point designed to national development sustainability and the improvement of people's welfare.

Chairman of National Mandate Party (PAN) who is also Prabowo's vice presidential candidate, Hatta Rajasa hopes that this similarity can bring Democratic Party to join the coalition for next five years. However, Democratic Party has not signaled the support for Prabowo-Hatta.

"We respect the national coordination meeting of Democratic Party. We see the possibility after that," Rajasa said on Tuesday as reported by Erdy Nasrul.

Rajasa hopes to get support from Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono as party's chairman. Both sides continue to build political communication.

"I am optimistic that Democratic Party will vote for Prabowo-Hatta," he said.

Collectiveness in national development was seen very important to continue current development programs. Rajasa said that Democratic Party was a big party, which has the influence in next presidential election.
