REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono has asked the Indonesian people to have the same vision in developing the country into a just, secure, democratic and prosperous nation.

"We have determination to develop the nation's better future, namely a just, secure, democratic and prosperous Indonesia," the President wrote on his twitter account on Sunday.

He reminded the importance of unity to achieve the same goals. In his previous tweets, the head of state reminded the people of the need to heed shortcomings but should not be complacent with what had been achieved.

"We must have the courage to criticize our own weaknesses. We should not be discouraged with criticism but should neither be easily complacent with what has been achieved," he said.
