Pertamina's subsidiary records a surplus production in 2013

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - PT Pertamina Hulu Energi Offshore North West Java (PHE ONWJ), recorded oil and gas surplus production in 2013 with production of 38,300 barrels of oil per day (bopd) and 181 million standard cubic feet per day (mmscfd) respectively. The figure slightly exceeded the total production target of 2013, 38,000 bopd and 175 mmscfd.

"The result is in line with government's target to increase oil and gas lifting. PHE ONWJ continues to optimize its production, drilling, exploration and facilities development of new wells," Vice President Executive and General Manager of PHE ONWJ,  Jonly Sinulingga said in a written statement recently.

PHE ONWJ managed to complete LIMA Subsidence Remediation project to maintain the production at 4,000 bopd and 20 mmscfd. Company also plans to increase its oil and gas production in the coming years especially at UL block to 2,200 bopd and 9.5 mmscfd respectively.
