ADM to export 6,000 low cost cars to the Philippines

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, KARAWANG - Automotive giant, PT Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM) plans to export 6,000 low cost green cars, Toyota Agya, to the Philippines this year. ADM President Director, Sudirman MR, said that the company would sell 500 units per month.

"ADM as a big manufacturer will export low cost cars to Philippines. The number reached 6,000 units this year," Sudirman said on Monday. 

Most of car's components (88 percent) is locally produced which demonstrating the ADM' quality products are accepted by global market. Since it was launched on September 9, 2013, Toyota Agya and Daihatsu Ayla cars have been sold more than 41 thousand units in domestic market or with average sales of 5,000 units per month.
