REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Member of Presidential Advisory Council on Legal Issues, Albert Hasibuan asked all parties did not give political pressures to Vice President Boediono related to Parliament's summon. It will worsen current condition, moreover, if the pressure was coming from other figures outside Parliament.
"I see their steps to request and give opinion to Vice President are not right. It can be considered as social and political pressures," Hasibuan said on Monday.
Today's opinion is likely to discredit Boediono that he should come to Parliament building. Hasibuan said that Bank Century case was always associated to Boediono and it should be handled legally, no longer political way. Supposedly, Bank Century supervisory team can monitor the running of legal process; no longer fill it with political side.
"This case has been handled by Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). So, political aspect related to this case is over," he said.
