REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, KUWAIT CITY - Indonesian Ambassador to Kuwait, Ferry Adamhar explained that Indonesian paper and noodles dominated Kuwait market. Paper products take part of 50 to 60 percent of market shares in Kuwait.

"Indonesian instant noodle is number one here," Adamhar said on Tuesday.

The noodle is widely sold in traditional market as well as supermarkets in Kuwait. The product boosts Indonesian export to Kuwait.

Currently food is one of the main Indonesian commodities exported to Kuwait, including furniture and tires. Indonesian government is still negotiating with Kuwait government to export nut products.

Yet, Indonesia's trade with Kuwait is still deficit despite the figure keeps increasing. Indonesia's export to Kuwait increased 15 percent in 2013 compared to the previous year.
