'Shahpad': Iran's homegrown cyber defense network

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, Iranian experts launched the first-ever cyber defense network dubbed 'Shahpad', the manager of the project Mohammad Naderi said on Sunday, IRNA reported.

It is the outcome of several years of research studies to launch the project which is unique in its kind, he said.

The system protects data and operates as data manager and is responsive to the safety needs of all organizations.

Few countries such as the US and Russia have launched such defense cyber network to secure their data bases, he said.

In case of any the data base of the organizations exposed to threat, the warning system will give alarm and take smart action to protect all data stored to the network, he said.
