REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, NUSA DUA - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono officially opened the Ministerial Conference of World Trade Organization (WTO) in Nusa Dua, Bali on Tuesday. He invited WTO members to re-create multilateral trading system more fair.

Yudhoyono showed that global trade needed to be reorganized. He hopes meeting in Bali could end in mutual agreement as a continuation of historic meeting in Geneva, which was concluded in Doha Development Agenda or Doha Round.

"Let we show the world that we are capable to reorganize this global trade. We have a chance to create fair world trade," Yudhoyono said in his speech.

President also reminds that all WTO members have agreements to be re-formed, so it will open market for undeveloped countries. He wishes to all members for making real progress in Bali meeting.

Ministerial Meeting of WTO in Bali today is a golden opportunity to make a major step towards conclusion of Doha Round. Yudhoyono asked all members to unify the differences and agree on the new trade rules. He saw that Bali meeting would produce a concrete result only when all delegates did not see others as competitors.
