REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Indonesia's famous local restaurant, Solaria will finally get a halal certification from Institute for Foods, Drugs and Cosmetics, the Indonesian Council of Ulama (LPPOM MUI). Operation Manager of Solaria Restaurant, Dedy Nugrahadi said that halal certification would be conducted on Tuesday, December 3, 2013.

"Solaria successfully passed the audit process of LPPOM MUI. The result, Solaria Restaurant is worth getting halal certification," Nugrahadi said on Tuesday.

LPPOM MUI previously has not yet carried out a check on food and beverage products of Solaria Restaurant. Thus, food and beverages at the restaurant was not guaranteed halal.
