REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The government offers 27 infrastructure projects worth US$47.52 billion under the Government-Private Cooperation Scheme (PKS).
The projects include 14 categorized as prospective projects and 13 as potential projects, Minister for National Development Planning/head of the National Development Planning Board (Bappenas) Armida S Alisjahbana said here on Friday.
Armida said potential projects are infrastructure projects which at least have been included in the priority list and prospective projects are ones which have been complete with supporting documents.
She said the infrastructure projects are ones which would turn out income and useful for the public interest.
"The projects would support connectivity, provision of power supply and urban infrastructure," she said.
Among the projects supporting connectivity are railway projects and mass rapid transit (MRT) project.
Urban infrastructure projects are drinking water supply projects, waste treatment and sanitation projects, she said.
The 14 prospective projects include three railway projects, a land transport project in Aceh, five toll road projects, two drinking water supply projects, two sanitation projects and a power generating project, she said.
The railway projects include the Soekarno Hatta airport railway project, an integrated railway terminal project of Gedebage in Bandung and revitalization of railway station and Maliboro pedestrian of Yogyakarta.
The land transport project in Aceh is urban development in Banda Aceh.
The toll road projects include the Sunda strait strategic area in Lampung, Tanjung Priok toll road access, Balikpapan-Samarinda toll road, Manado-Bitung toll road and Kayuagung-Palembang-Betung toll road.
The drinking water supply projects are in Bogor and Surakarta and the power generating project is in West Sulawesi.
Potential projects include three sea transport projects, two air transport projects, four railway projects, three toll road projects and a sanitation project.
The sea transport projects include expansion of Tanjung Priok port in Karawang, development of Maloy port in East Kalimantan and expansion of Tanjung Sauh port in Batam.
Sea transport projects include an international airport in Kulonprogo, and a new airport in Bali.
Railway projects include Mass Rapid Transit in Surabaya, monorail project in Bandung, Muara Enim-Pulau Bai rail track project in South Sumatra and Monorail project in North Sumatra.
Toll road projects include Pasirkoja- Soreang toll road in West Java, Cileunyi-Sumedang-Dawuan toll road in West Java, and Pandaan-Malang toll road project in East Java as well as the sanitation project of waste water treatment project in Jakarta.
