REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The Indonesian government will continue issuing state bonds valued at Rp22 trillion until the end of this year to meet the financing target set by the 2013 state budget, an official said.

"We still need another Rp22 trillion from the issuance of state bonds," Director General of Debt Management at the Finance Ministry, Robert Pakpahan, said after the launch of the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Book at the Jakarta Convention Center on Friday.

The government will issue two tenders for rupiah-denominated bonds and one tender for foreign currency-denominated bonds until the end of this year, he said.

"Common state bonds will be up for auction on November 25, 2013," he noted.

Pakpahan said five series of state bonds with an indicative value of Rp8 trillion will be put to tender on November 19, 2013.

The five series of state bonds, which are the re-opening of existing issues, are SPN12141107, FR0069, FR0070, FR0071 and FR0067.

The bond series SPN12141107 with discount interest payments will mature on November 7, 2014, he noted.

The fixed rate bond series FR0069, due on April 15, 2019, will be issued at a coupon of 7.88 percent. Also, the bond series FR0070, issued at a fixed interest rate of 8.38 percent, will mature on March 15, 2014.

He said the bond series FR0071, due on March 15, 2019, will carry a fixed interest of 9.00 percent, while the bond series FR0067, due on February 15, 2044, will carry a fixed interest of 8.75 percent.
