REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - State owned Electricity Company, PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) and BP Berau Ltd have not determined new gas price for Tangguh block. Chief of Fuel and Gas Division in PLN, Suryadi Mardjoeki said that according to Decree Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, export price of crude oil from Tangguh block was determined worth 110 USD per barrel.

"However, BP does not agree with oil price mechanism, which based on certain maximum price," Mardjoeki said on Wednesday.

If there is no limitation price for tangguh, the price can be more expensive when world's oil price rises. PLN has re-discussed it with Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities (SKK Migas) and BP Berau. The result, Tangguh price will use a price adjustment mechanism. It has been submitted to Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources.
