REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SEMARANG -- Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Gerindra Party Prabowo Subijanto said the decision to make Jakarta's Governor Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo to be his partner as a presidential candidate in upcoming 2014 presidential election will be pending the results of the legislative elections of 2014.

"I guess we have to wait for the process, we cannot determine before we know the results of the legislative elections," he said in Semarang on Saturday (9/11).

This was said by Prabowo after speaking at the event of 'Business Sharing with the theme of Populist Economic Empowerment Strategy organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) of Central Java.

Besides still waiting for the results of the legislative elections in 2014, Gerindra continue discussions and communication with all the people in an attempt to win the elections.

"The important thing is that we establish a good political communication, we have to work together and discuss the problems facing the nation because national problems are so huge," said the former commander of the Special Forces.

Related with the preparation of Gerindra to win the 2014 election, Prabowo also upgrade and asked his entire party cadres to work hard and continue go around to the regions.

"Gerindra cadres should diligently convince people to avoid abstention on vote because it can be bought and sold," he said.

Gerindra, he said, is a political party with understanding, not just a party to seek power.
