REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Senior national team keeps eyeing Asian Cup 2015 althought it is so heavy. Garuda squad is optimistic to achieve maximum results in China's match on November 15, 2013.
With three games remaining, Indonesia is chasing runner up position to get a ticket to the final. China is in second position with four points. Indonesia can beat China if win with score at least three goals without reply.
About 24 players of Garuda squad flight to China on Thursday night. Indonesian national team striker, Samson Arif is optimistic that Indonesia can be defeated China in order to maintain opportunities. He considered that Garuda squad had endured many trials and a long preparation.
"We are very optimistic that we will go home with full points to give happiness to Indonesian people," Arif said recently.
Boaz Solossa also expressed the same. According to Solossa who carried out a long term preparation since October 2013, national team has increased its unity and its game's quality. Indonesian players are mutually understanding each other's games, so the team is very ready to win points in China.
Solossa admitted that China has a better game than Indonesia. But, national team has pocketed Chinese weakness that can be exploited in the game later.
