REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, KARAWANG - Pertamina's subsidiary, Pertamina EP Asset 3 Subang Field increased its production by completed of Put on Production program (POP) wells BBS - 02 on Friday last week. BBS-02 was an exploration well which was successfully completed in November 2012.
Manager of Subang Field, Defrian Basa said that BBS-02 produced 559 barrel oil per day (bopd), higher than the initial target of 300 bopd. Until November 2013, Subang Field is expected to produce 1409.9 bopd.
"It increases up to 105.6 percent of target of 1,335.3 bopd," Basa said on Wednesday.
Previously, Pertamina EP managed to overcome blowouts in Tarakan. Althought the bursts have been overcame; Pertamina EP has not decided to stop production. Public Relation Manager of Pertamina EP, Agus Amperianto said that now the water bursts mixed with oil and gas have been controlled. It can be solved in less than 48 hours.
