REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BANDA ACEH -- The Aceh provincial administration continues to work hard to convince investors to invest in the province, Governor Zaini Abdullah said here on Friday.

"We will continue to work hard to convince investors that Aceh province is suitable for investment now and in the future," the governor said after attending a technical meeting from the local marine affairs and fisheries department.

He noted that the province remains attractive for investment because it has a large potential for profits in the field of fisheries, tourism, and agriculture.

"We keep on telling both local and foreign investors that Aceh is the right place for them to invest in the field of fisheries, agriculture, and industry," the governor said.

Abdullah also explained that he would visit Australia in the near future to discuss various investment potentials in his province with Australian investors.

"We have done the same thing in Thailand, Germany and other European countries, and we still have time to do so in Australia," he noted.

The governor admitted that there were certain parties who disturbed investors and prevented them from investing in the province.

"But we have to overcome this problem together in order that investors can feel safe and comfortable when investing in the province," he said.
