REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BANDUNG -- State owned company PT Telkom Indonesia officially built internet training centers (BLC) in several schools and boarding schools, or also known as pesantren, across Indonesia in order to accelerate distribution of internet access service.
"Accelerated deployment of digital opportunity to get internet access, not only applied in urban areas but also gradually and sustainably in remote area," Regional Telecommunication Chief (Kawitel) of Telkom's Priangan Timur office Afianto said in Tasikmalaya regency, on Thursday (24/10).
In the regency, Telkom of East Priangan inaugurated the commencement of an internet training center (BLC) in Pondok Pesantren Nurul Huda of Singaparna District.
The launching was conducted by Regent H Uu Ruzhanul Ulum Tasikmalaya and Afianto himself. The center provided internet access and facilities with high speed capability.
