REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, TANJUNG PINANG -- Participants of Sail Indonesia 2013 started to arrive with small yachts in Nirwana Garden Resort beach, Bintan regency, Riau Islands. Head Department of Tourism in Bintan, Setioso said that all 88 yachts which took part in this event were expected to dock at Lagoi beach today, October 23.
"After break, all participants will be escorted to some tourist destinations in Bintan," Setioso said recently.
Participants of Sail Indonesia 2013 will also interact with community in Tanjung Uban. They will also buy some logistics to continue their trip to Singapore or Malaysia. Setioso said that Bintan is the last area visited by participants of Sail Indonesia 2013.
They will leave for Singapore and Malaysia on October 25. All participants will be entertained with cultural performances, as well as culture of Malay archipelago to introduce Bintan. Sail Indonesia 2013 can be an attraction and promotional event in Bintan, especially Lagoi beach to foreign tourists.
