REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BEKASI -- No doubt , Islam has penetrated almost all sectors of our life. Not only in the financial industry such as banking and Islamic insurance, but also healthcare industry, like bruise or Hijaamah (cupping therapy) and ruqyah .
Islamic medical industry could become an interesting source of income. Pusat Bekam dan Ruqyah proved that its could obtain a turnover up to Rp 1.5 billion per year.
"We can serve tens of thousands of people each month with Rp 600 million turnovers per month. The average income approximately Rp 50 to 100 million per branch," said owner Pusat Bekam dan Ruqyah, Yusman Dawolo, to ROL yesterday. Their total net profit reached Rp 150 to Rp 200 million per month.
He said Pusat Bekam dan Ruqyah established on late 2009 and has been operating around seven branches in Bekasi area of West Java.
"The background of the establishment cannot be separated from a motivation to spread Islamic health system," he said.
He remembered, at the beginning of the establishment the number of patients was so minimal. But due to his persistence to introduce Islam through health sector, the number of patients increased every day. "Most consumers who use these services motivated by the method of healing as per the teaching of Prophet Muhammad," Yusman added.
Pusat Bekam dan Ruqyah plans to open about 50 branches in Bekasi and Jakarta in 2015. The opening of the new branches will involve investors who are committed to development of Islamic medicine. "We are open in case there are investors who want to join with us. Developing Islamic medicine such as buirse and ruqyah not only benefitted financially but also spiritually in the afterlife in the form of the Islamic fate," he claimed.
Yusman said their strategy to improve the company's performance is to offer share to employees so that there would be a sense of belonging in their mind.
The share is distributed from marketing personnel, therapists till directors. All are required to invest in the company. Currently there are about 95 employees working in Pusat Bekam dan Ruqyah.
He said, various kinds of diseases can be cured by means of cupping and ruqyah. Beside treatment services, The center is also open for psychological consultations ranging from domestic issues to life motivation.
"We continue to develop our services so that people could regard Pusat Bekam dan Ruqyah as a place to provide physical and spiritual healing," he said.
