REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SUKABUMI -- Indonesia's President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono reminded state owned insurance company PT Askes, that will become the manager of Social Security Agency (BPJS) Health, to ensure accountability and professionalism of BPJS, so the public will be served kindly and the program of health insurance will be successfully implemented.
"Through BPJS Health, government wants to guarantee wider participants (for social security - ed) and his family. We encourage prudence and increase accountability in the provision of health benefits," the president said during socialization of social security awareness campaign, organized by PT Askes in Setukpa Polri Sukabumi, Monday.
The president said, health sector is one of the government's development priorities to make sure the success of national development.
"We want public to get health care. [The company] urged to be able to improve services and to grant access to health care benefits and protection," he said.
