Steelheart and Firehouse rock Surabaya today

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SURABAYA - Two legendary rock bands formed in late 1980s and early 1990, Firehouse and Steelheart shake Surabaya on Thursday at Grand City, Surabaya at 07.00 PM. Both bands makes tour and share stage together in annual celebration of Guinness Arthur's Day in several big cities in Indonesia .

Surabaya is the third stop of the music roadshows. Marketing Director of Guinness Indonesia, Herman Sulina says the choice has a strong reason since Surabaya is dubbed "Su-rock-boyo City", where the citizens are well known for its great enthusiasm for music, especially rock. "Surabaya will be rocked by their legendary songs," Sulina said on Thursday.

Guinness Arthur's Day 2013 kicks off on October 12 in Medan, North Sumatra as the first venue, then the show continues in Bali, Surabaya (East Java) and Makassar (South Sulawesi).

The closing show will be held at Jakarta International Expo on Thursday, October 26, which One Republic, MeW and Club 8 are scheduled to perform.

Steelheart's frontman, Miljenko Matijevic before the newspeople said he felt honored to be given the opportunity to take part in global music event that was considered extraordinary. Meanwhile the vocalist of Firehouse, CJ Shane added that this concert have motivated him to continue to do more. "This concert will prove our determination," said Shane.
