No clue on the stolen Sonobudoyo gold collections

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, YOGYAKARTA - Chief of Sonobudoyo Museum in Yogyakarta, Riharyani said that no significant clue on the stolen gold master piece collections of Sonobudoyo. If all collections are not found until next two years, then they won't be includid in Sonobudoyo Museum's collections as the time for stolen collections expires after five years.

"According to Law No. 11/2010 about heritage, time for stolen collections is limited for five years," Riharyani said last Wednesday.

Department of Culture in Yogyakarta has formed a special team to investigate the theft. It consists of civil investigators, police and representatives of Ministry of Education and Culture. Coordinator of Community Advocacy Cultural Heritage, Jhohannes Marbun said it had been almost three years the theft of master piece of Sonobudoyo remained unsolved.
