Bank Permata records profit of 818 billion IDR

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - A public listed banking company, Bank Permata recorded a net profit of 818 billion IDR in the first half of 2013. The profit increases 15 percent compared to the same period last year.

The company's written statement on Monday says, its loans grows 27 percent from 84.4 trillion IDR to 106.9 trillion IDR. Credit growth in almost all business segments, including strong growth in small and medium enterprises (SME) sector, lending to corporate and middle segment in local market.

Total assets reaches 144.3 trillion IDR or increases 31 percent from 110.6 trillion IDR last year. Third party fund, including sharia of Bank Permata rises 32 percent at a level of 116.1 trillion IDR.

Sharia financing of Bank Permata significantly increases 95 percent. Bank Permata Syariah records strong growth in first half of 2013, from 118 billion IDR to 238 billion IDR.
