Tower Bersama to buyback shares worth 1.44 trillion IDR

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - One of Indonesia's largest telecommunications tower operators, PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure will repurchase or buyback shares five percent out of issued capital or equal to 239.8 million shares. Company plans to spend 1.44 trillion IDR for this corporate action.

"This funding including transaction of costs, broker fees and other costs," Coorporate Secretary of Tower Bersama Infrastructure, Helmy Yusman Santoso on Wednesday.

General Meeting of Shareholders of Tower Bersama Infrastructure approved buyback shares within a period of 18 months. Company was expected to manage capital more flexibly to increase return of equity (ROE).

Tower Bersama Infrastructure is a leading provider telecommunication infrastructure base transceiver station in Indonesia. In March 31, 2013, Tower Bersama Infrastructure owns and operates 8,810 sites and 14,319 rental sites.
