REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Many methods could help you learning to read Quran easily, an Islamic teacher, Ahmad Farid Hasan said. He cited, there was one condition: strong will.

"There are three keys to be able to read Quran quickly, namely memorizing letters of hijaiyah (Arabic letters -Ed), punctuation, and recitation (tajwid). Although someone cannot remember all recitation, you still can read Quran," Hasan said on Thursday.

Another Islamic teacher, Bobby Herwibowo introduced a technique to memorize Quran called Kauny Quantum Memory (KQM), Quran memorization techniques as easy as a smile.

"The method is inspired by the event when Prophet Muhammad PBUH received the first revelation in Hira Cave. He was frightened, ran home and asked his wife, Siti Khadjijah to blanket her. The Prophet could read perfectly the verse sent by Angel Gabriel," Herwibowo said, referred to the Prophet who could not read.

The incident gives us a message that there are more methods to learn and memorize Quran which have not been practiced by human. Herwibowo said more than 30 thousand people from local and foreign have learnt Quran with use KQM technique.
