REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Perry Warjiyo took oath as deputy governor of Bank Indonesia (BI) on Monday. He replaces Budi Mulya as Deputy Governor BI for Monetary Management.
Head of Commission XI at the House of Representative, Emir Moeis said they wrote some recommendations to Warjiyo. "For example, he has to drive BI's policy to help farmers, fishermen, small and medium enterprises, real sectors, and national economic interest," he said.
Commission XI also asked Warjiyo to enhance the coordination between BI and government to manage exchange rate in order to guard fiscal policy. "In addition, we have also suggested BI to put special formula to manage capital inflow from foreign direct investment," he added.
