Singaporean Ambassador meets deputy governor of Jakarta

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Singapore Ambassador to Indonesia, Anil Kumar Nayar, met with Vice Governor of Jakarta, Basuki Thajaha Purnama to talk about problems in Jakarta on Tuesday. 

Nayar promised to help Purnama, or famous as Ahok, to tackle urban issue. He said that the meeting mainly discussed on traffic jam, hospitality and housing in Jakarta.

The Ambassador also said that his visit was aimed to congratulate Ahok as a new leader of Jakarta. He added that it was important for Singapore to cooperate with Jakarta. However, the cooperation depends on Jakarta. "We will help in certain capacity," he said.
