The Board of Muslim Fashion Designer (IPBM) in West Java plans to hold fashion show entitled Fashion and Art on December 12 in Trans Hotel Bandung. This event is expected to inspire new Muslim designers.
About 30 designers from West Java will be exhibiting their latest collection. The Chairman of IPBM in West Java, Iva lativah, hopes the fashion show can promote Indonesia in international Muslim fashion mode. "This event is aimed to introduce Indonesian artwork to other countries," she said.
Several famous Indonesian Muslim fashion designers will join the fashion show. They are Ahmad Zaki, Erni Kosasih, Eriyani Yusuf, Eriyani and Iva Lativah. They will predict and design 2013 trends. Ahmad Zaki depicts the 2013 trends with natural colors, such as green, maroon, dark blue, and orange.
His collection themed 'Everlasting Love Devotion' is dominated with long gown in Turkish and Minang style. The idea is taken from the love of a mother to her children.
Meanwhile, Eriyani consistently uses white as her identity. In contrast, Erni Kosasih plays with natural colors in elegant style.
