Sweden offers a solution for traffic jam

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt visited Indonesia on Wednesday, offering opportunities for cooperation in some fields. Among others, he offers a solution for traffic jam to Indonesia.

When a country has growing middle class, public transportation and free way must be improved. Reinfeldt claimed that his country had many experiences on such case.

Coming to Indonesia with 30 Swedish businessmen, he said Sweden was seeking cooperation with local company, such as Astra. He, impressed with growing middle class in Indonesia, ensured that Swedish company such as IKEA furniture would enter Indonesia. Apart from economic sector, both countries agree to increase cooperation on health, environment, tourism, and democracy.
