REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BANDUNG - Iraq's Vice Minister of Defense, General Mohan Hafith Fahad, and his entourage visited PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PT DI), Bandung, on Wednesday and observed its facility.

General Fahad, accompanied by his Indonesian counterpart Vice Minister Sjafrie Sjamsuddin, was welcomed by the Executive Director of PT DI Budi Santoso who was explaining PT DI's ability on producing aircrafts and helicopters. Santoso expected the visit to produce real steps.

Fahad started observing PT DI by visiting Directorate Production, a place where components of aircraft are made. Then, he continued observing final assembly of CN235.

His visit, aimed to observe military development and military technology progress in Indonesia, was a part of his trip to Indonesia from 1-6 October. Before visiting PT DI, Fahad went other industries in Indonesia, such as PT Pindad and PT Bali Mukti Shoe Factory.
