REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BEIJING - The former Indonesian Vice President Jusuf Kalla said Indonesia and China must support each other on every sector. Both countries need strong economic growth.
Indonesia needs products and investment from China, while China needs natural resources from Indonesia. "We need a balanced and win-win solution so that both countries can enjoy the economic growth," he said on Wednesday in Beijing after visiting pharmacy and medical equipment company in Yantai, Shandong.
But, Indonesia today cannot export its raw materials to any country including China. China, he said, must respect Indonesian policy then buy Indonesia products with proper price.
Kalla said that relationship between Indonesia and China generally ran well. "We must create supportive, respective, and appreciative relationship," he said.
