REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will discuss the condition of South China Sea during her visit to Indonesia. Hillary will arrive in Indonesia on Monday at Halim Perdanakusumah Airport.
This will be the second visit to Indonesia while she also will visit five other countries in Asia Pacific including China.
Presidential spokesperson, Julian Aldrin Pasha, confirmed her visit. He said that Hillary would meet her Indonesian counterpart, Minister for Foreign Affairs Marty Natalegawa, and hold courtesy call with Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) on next Tuesday.
"The agenda is the discussion to improve bilateral cooperation and strengthen bilateral relationship," Pasha said on Friday.
Her first visit to Asia Pacific will be Cook Islands to take part in the Pacific Islands Forum. Then, she will depart for Indonesia, China, Brunei Darussalam, and Timor Leste. Her tour will be ended in Vladivostok, Russia, where she will represent President Barack Obama on Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Forum.
