REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BANDUNG – Dozens pedicab drivers from Bandung held a rally on Wednesday in front of Gedung Sate, Bandung, to support the increasing of fuel price. And an "accident" made the rally even more suprising!

The action is surprising as they carrying a banner and posters to show their support on fuel price increasing. They parked the pedicabs in the entrance of Gedung Sate and then listened to the oration of coordinator. Regardless of their passiveness, the pedicab drivers held a white banner with message ‘We support fuel price increasing if school fee is free’ and ‘The increasing of fuel price is OK to save people’.

Their presence was welcomed by Zulkifli Chaniago, the member of Regional House of Representatives from Demokrat Party, the incumbent party, who also made an oration and supported the increasing of fuel price.

“The policy will have some impacts, but government has no choice other than increasing it. They will also give compensation for people, especially the poor, and repair the infrastructure,” Chaniago said.

Some of the drivers came to the stage to hold oration. But, one of them failed to say that he supported the increasing. Instead, he said no to the fuel price hike. Ah… it is an unexpected accident.
