REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Vice President Jusuf Kalla and his wife Mufidah Kalla wished President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), a happy birthday. Jokowi was born on June 21, 1961.
"I would first like to say happy birthday to the president. I wish you are happy, healthy, faithful and are given the power of God to continue the state's duties," he stated at the Vice President's Palace, Jakarta, on Thursday.
Furthermore, Mufidah Kalla also sent moon orchids to President Jokowi, which were plucked from her garden.
"This is a something I usually do for my best friends," she said.
Meanwhile, when asked about the presidential election and his support to President Joko Widodo in 2019, Kalla said both of them (the president and the vice president) must be united.
On the first day of his duty after Lebaran 2018, Vice President Kalla held a gathering with officials and employees of the Vice Presidential Secretariat.
