On LGBT, NU urges government follow China and Singapore

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- PB Nahdlatul Ulema (NU) urges government strickly prohibit Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) develop in Indonesia.

"We support government to opposed LGBT because NU strickly reject LGBT," PBNU Chairman Said Aqil Siradj said on Thursday.

Said said China government and Singapore itself forbid LGBT in their country. As the largest moslem citizen in the world, Said assesed, Indonesia must did that.

"China and Singapore already strickly prohibit LGBT. Our government has not been stricted," Said said.
