REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA  -- Vice Chairman Ombudsman RI Lely Pelitasari Soebekti said there was a potential maladministration in the raid of PT Indo Beras Unggul (PT IBU)'s factory in Bekasi, West Java.

"We see the potential of maladministration of legal procedures conducted in raid, "said Lely said, at Ombudsman office, Jakarta, Thursday (July 27).

Ombudsman has invited police and Ministry of Commerce and KPPU to discuss the case. Ombudsman wanted to ask and deepening the case.

A few days ago, he said, he has questioned PT IBU as the alleged party and harmed in this case. Then the Ministry of Agriculture, Bulog, and the Social Ministry were concentrated in the case of this rice.

Lely also wanted to see the test related to the definition of premium and medium rice and total state losses.

"We will test the policy, is there a miss that makes people restless and confusing information definition of premium rice, medium, loss information. We will see verification and validation related to rice business as well as economic calculations," she said.
