REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The Deputy Chairman of Indonesian House of Representatives Fahri Hamzah made sure that the proposal of 'Ahok-Gate' inquiry right was still kept on rolling. So far, it has been discussed in the leadership board meeting. "It had been discussed in the leadership board meeting and the consultative board meeting," said Fahri in the House of Representatives Building, Senayan, Jakarta on Friday (17/2).

According to him, after being discussed in the consultative board meeting, the follow up would be discussed in the final meeting. Fahry said perhaps the inquiry would be read in this period plenary meeting because the last week of February would be the beginning of reses period. "The plenary session would be the reading. The proposal would be read there. I guessed it would be scheduled in the consultative board meeting. Indeed there was a technical problem that the routine schedule in the house of representative was at 23 or 24 February. It has been in the recess period," said Fahri.

Fahri argued that the decision making of the inquiry right would take a long time until the opening of the sessions. "So it might take a long time to make the decision. The plenary session would be the reading and then there was a spare time to make an agreement, consent and lobbies for the agree and disagree. It would be long enough (process)," said him.

Although there were six fractions refused, he said it would not be stopped. The inquiry right was the right of every member of the house of representatives and it was based on the voting of them.

"Because it was the right of the member not the fraction. It was the decision and consent of the members. So there would be people wo agree and disagree. It was conmon," he said.
