REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BOGOR -- President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) asked regulations that were unnecessary, hampers, and inflexible, to be removed in 2016. The request was conveyed by President Jokowi when opening the plenary cabinet meeting at the Presidential Palace in Bogor, Tuesday (8/12).
The plenary meeting was scheduled to discuss four issues, namely simplification of nomenclature in budget; priority programs and utilization of budget 2016; problems that have not been completed in 2015; and anticipation to problems that arise in local elections.

The president stated, there were 42 thousand regulations in Indonesia in the form of Presidential Decree, Government Regulation, and Ministerial Decree.
"Next year, we should remove regulations that are complicated and inflexible," said President Jokowi.
He asked all government regulation to be collected. According to him, the removal should be done because orientation of Indonesian government was in the results, not in the procedures.
