REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, MANADO -- State electricity company PT PLN will meet the electricity requirements for the Boalemo Festival, according to the company's General Manager Baringin Nababan for North and Central Sulawesi, and Gorontalo (Suluttenggo).
"PLN Suluttenggo is ready to offer support for the success of Boalemo Festival to be held on September 10, 2015, by meeting the electricity needs of the event," Nababan stated here on Tuesday.
The Suluttenggo local governments continue to make preparations for ensuring the success of Boalemo festival, including conducting close coordination with the relevant technical agencies.
Nababan remarked that PLN always supports every national program, including the Boalemo festival to be a routine agenda of the government as part of Sail Tomini 2015.
"In accordance with its position, capacity, and ability, PLN is committed to providing support for ensuring the success of Boalemo festival," Nababan affirmed.
In the meantime, Boalemo District Head Rum Pagau affirmed that the preparations for the festival in the framework of Sail Tomini are almost complete. He expressed hope that PLN will support the event by meeting the electricity needs.
Boalemo, a district in Gorontalo province, has been selected as the venue for the festival in conjunction with the international maritime event of Sail Tomini 2015.
"Situated at the coast of Tomini Bay, Boalemo district has immense marine tourism potential that should continue to be developed to transform the district into a national and international tourist destination," Pagau noted.
