REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The elected vice president, Jusuf Kalla said that ministers in new government system should focus only in cabinet.
That is why a leader or chairman of political party considered to be a minister as he will work in bureaucracy system.
A minister no longer takes care a political party. However, Kalla so far has not have talks with chairmen of calition parties.
"We see it later. It is an important thing that will be a minister's concentration in working," Kalla said on Monday as reporter by Andi Mohammad Ikhbal.
Kalla met the Transition Team on Monday to discuss the cabinet composition and recommendation. According to him, the option cabinet will based on academic study, but the final verdict is according to Jokowi and him.
The cabinet structure of next cabinet will not change significant because Jokowi and Kalla agreed to work directly. If there is a major reshuffle, it will take much adjusting time about the concept.
"We agree to work faster. If we do so many reshuffle, how can we work faster?" Kalla said.
Kalla and Jokowi previously said that they would evaluate the composition and structure of cabinet in future periods. The discussion also involves a number of political parties and supporters.
