REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - Jakarta Metro Police investigator has asked questions to Mario Teguh's wife, Linna Susanto. The police needed her statement related to reports of alleged defamation through social media.
"She was questioned as a witness," said Head of Public Relations of Jakarta Metro Police Commissioner Awi Setiyono in Jakarta on Friday as reported by Antara.
Based on information from investigators, Awi said Linna arrived in Cyber Crime Sub-Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation Directorate Jakarta Metro Police around 11:00 pm.
Awi said Linna reported two Instagram account named the "lambe_turah" and "hebohwow" that allegedly defamed Related Information Act Electronic Transaction (ITE).
The investigators were trying to collect possible evidence related to Linna's report.
On September 13, Linna reported Instagram account owner "lambe_turah" SHH initials and "hebohwow" initials AM.
"Initials L and H are Instagram account, not a name," said Linna lawyer, Vidi Sharif.
The second suspected Instagram account posted informations related to the lives of celebrities, including Mario's wife.
