REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Republika will launch an Islamic educational toy, 5 Pillars, on October 2017. The board game designed by a famous designer, Peter Gould, who converted to Islam at the age of 21.
The Islamic educational toy has earned sertificate from Indonesian Council of Ulemas (MUI).
"The '5 Pilar' describe five pillars of Islam," Operational Director of PT Republika Media Mandiri, Arys Hilman, said after signing MoU on Monday (July 31).
Playing with the 5 Pilar, children will be challenged to answer questions related to five pillars of Islam. The players have to play five stages to complete the game while learning five pillars of Islam in a fun way. "There are 750 questions for children, 500 questions for junior and 750 question is about Islamic history," Arys said.
Arys confirmed the games is not contrary to Islamic teaching. There is no hatred question in the game. "In the fun box, the questions are related to Islamic history, science and Islam, hadith, Moslem manner and Al Quran," Arys explained.
