REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The Indonesian bureaucracy has stepped up its services by initiating the Indonesian National Single Window (INSW), Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Darmin Nasution stated here on Wednesday.
"The INSW is an embodiment of the modern bureaucratic service, and therefore, this standard is different from the current standard. It would be much faster," Darmin noted after the initiation.
The coordinating minister remarked that the system also supports the first deregulation package, which was launched in early September 2015.
The procedures related to the import and export of goods can be checked to determine their existence and the workmanship through web pages that can be accessed at any time by using the INSW system.
In addition, Darmin remarked that the system integrates the import and export licensing services of 15 ministries/agencies, which have been reduced through the deregulation.
The system would be easier to access and traceable in supporting import-export activities.
The INSW was prepared by various ministries and related institutions since 2007, with the goal of improving the quality of licensing, to become more transparent, easy, accurate, fast, and timely.
